Description & Requirements

 

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our health care compliance consulting team. As a member of our consulting group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with our clients. This position will offer you an excellent opportunity for career advancement in our growing firm. How you will contribute: 

  • Dedicating time to client service while coordinating work for our clients in the following areas: 
    • Reviewing client accounting records and financial statements 
    • Working with client statistical, payroll, and billing information 
    • Using client information to prepare health care compliance filings for Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party payers 
    • Preparing analysis and correspondence with clients related to compliance filings and opportunities identified for improvements or additional revenue

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree or higher in accounting, finance or other business-related field or a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, or payroll accounting 
  • Experience working with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, or similar general ledger software package 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 
  • Prior experience with PFX Engagement 
  •  Data manipulation skills
