Description & Requirements

As we look toward expanding our Practice Unit capabilities and services, we need a strong marketer to lead the Deal Advisory Practice Unit efforts, which encompass Transaction Advisory Services, Capital Advisors, Corporate Finance and Restructuring, and Special Situations. 

The Advisory Marketing Leader will work closely with the senior management and will be accountable for providing a blend of strategic marketing planning/execution and project management guidance. This is a key leadership role on the Advisory Marketing Team and will work in close collaboration with our Private Equity industry marketing team to grow opportunities for the new firm. The Advisory Marketing Leader will report to the Advisory Marketing Director and will leverage support services from our National Office Marketing teams. 


How you will contribute: 


  • Planning and handling the development and actualization of integrated marketing campaigns for respective practice units. Integrated campaigns include but are not limited to print, digital and social media tactical elements.
  • Directing, curating, and planning the distribution of thought leadership (content marketing).
  • Drawing on resources of the firm and producing a series of webinars targeted at clients and prospects. This also includes analyzing webinar attendee reports, distributing results to client service personnel, and monitoring and implementing follow-up activities.
  • Planning and achieving firm participation in industry trade shows and conferences. This includes sponsorship negotiation, planning onsite events, booth logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Building relationships with and supporting marketing activities of client service professionals within the market.
  • Providing input and insight into large, elaborate sales pursuits and written proposals as requested.
  • Conducting business intelligence research and building target pursuit lists.
  • Being the liaison with the web developer to ensure the firm’s relevant website content is current and search engines are maximized.
  • Comprehending and implementing the firm’s brand and how it translates to all audiences of the firm.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • College degree, preferably in business, marketing, or related area
  • 3 years or more of experience in a professional business setting
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Google Ad Word certified, or experience in setting up and running digital campaigns
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
  • Pitchbook awareness is a plus
