Description & Requirements

FORVIS’ National Healthcare Advisory Practice is searching for a Senior Consultant for our Revenue Cycle team. In this role, you will be supporting our management team on various projects within our Consulting practice. FORVIS’ healthcare group is the largest industry within our firm and generates approximately $120 million in client service net revenue.

As a Senior Consultant within our National Healthcare Advisory Practice, you will be helping our clients improve their financial and operational performance. In addition, you will be working with a highly collaborative team that is solely dedicated to the healthcare industry.

How you will contribute:  

  • Supporting large revenue cycle performance improvement projects, including qualitative and quantitative tasks 
  • Supporting the team in advising our health care clients, particularly in-patient access and/or patient financial services 
  • Conducting data analysis to assist the team in analyzing performance trends 
  • Providing best in class experience for our clients 
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment in discussing and validating client workflows, knowledge transfer sessions, and addressing issues and challenges 

We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:

  • The ability to communicate both up and downstream to team staff and exercise judgment in determining client interactions
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects, including monitoring project time budgets and consistently meeting or exceeding agreed-upon deadlines
  • The ability to professionally write and communicate deliverables including but not limited to client meetings, internal meetings, and projects
  • Advanced computer skills and the ability to learn new software related to the accounting function of an organization
  • High attention to detail as well as strong analytical skills
  • The ability to travel on occasion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years of accounting and/or consulting experience with another public accounting firm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
  • Accounting and/or consulting experience with revenue cycle
