Description & Requirements

This position in our growing physician enterprise practice offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who are interested in a consulting career focused on advising physician enterprise decision-makers with performance improvement, transactions, compliance, and other strategic matters.

Well-qualified candidates will possess strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills, the ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements, and sensitivity to deadlines. Dedication to client service is essential to coordinating work for our clients. Qualified candidates will work with our healthcare team.

As a member of the National Healthcare Group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of physician consulting projects, but the primary skillset underlying these analyses is regulatory reimbursement.

How you will contribute:

  • Preparing reimbursement-related financial analyses under a wide range of facts and circumstances for various physician activities
  • Researching, summarizing, and preparing financial analyses of applicable updates and changes in the regulatory environment for physician enterprise reimbursement
  • Completing various operational and financial analyses as related to hospital-based physician practices (both employed & contractual)
  • Developing and assisting with the delivery of reports and presentations
  • Researching and synthesizing information on various healthcare industry topics and assisting in the development of educational presentation materials for clients and trade groups
  • Performing other healthcare compensation design, compliance, and transactional consulting projects, as needed
  • Assisting with performance improvement implementations, as needed

We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:

  • Effective business writing skills (for reports and routine correspondence)
  • Technical research skills, especially with respect to Medicare Part B
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Effective abilities to leverage technology to develop repeatable processes

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, health administration, or other related degrees (3.0 GPA or higher in selected major and overall)
  • 2 years or more in healthcare accounting, operations, finance, consulting, etc. is preferred, or a Master’s degree in the same areas
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations
